Terms of use for Turnierklar

1. Provider and scope

The provider is NorthProfit UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Waldnieler Straße 28, 40549 Düsseldorf, Germany. The terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play also apply.

2. What the app does and its limits

Turnierklar plans tournaments: schedules for round robin, knockout and a group stage with a knockout round, schedules with times and fields, tables, results, live views and a projector view.

• Schedules are suggestions; the organiser decides on kick-off times and fields.
• The app is not an official association system and doesn’t decide disputes under sports law.
• The organiser is responsible for the accuracy of the results, including those entered by helpers.

3. Account, data and backup

The app works without an account.

• From version 2.0 you can create an optional account, with Apple, Google or an email code.
• You need the account for the backup, a second device and helpers.
• When you create it, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy.
• Keep your sign-in methods protected.

With an account, the app backs up your tournaments automatically. We operate the backup carefully, but we don’t promise constant availability. Your tournaments always stay on your device as well.

Without an account, you are responsible for creating an export before deleting the app, changing devices or resetting. We can’t restore data deleted locally without a backup.

You can delete your account at any time in the app or at apps.northprofit.eu/turnierklar/en/delete-account/. The tournaments on your devices are kept.

4. Scope without Pro, Pro and Event Pass

Without Pro. If you install Turnierklar from version 2.2.0, the first draft schedule with up to eight teams is free. After that, planning and running tournaments, including entering results, requires Turnierklar Pro or an Event Pass (use with a subscription or pass). Saved tournaments stay readable even without Pro; CSV export, the backup and deleting stay free. If you used Turnierklar before version 2.2.0 (onboarding completed, own tournament or account), you keep the previous free scope:

• any number of tournaments with up to eight teams each
• all formats including a group stage with a knockout round
• schedule with fields, results and tables
• account and backup
• CSV export (from version 2.1.5)

Turnierklar Pro also includes:

• tournaments with up to 64 teams
• live score with link, QR code and projector view
• helpers who enter results
• PDF export
• leagues with matchdays (from version 2.2.12; not with an Event Pass)

Event Pass. Alternatively, an Event Pass unlocks these Pro features for exactly one selected tournament; leagues need Pro.

• It doesn’t renew automatically.
• An assigned pass stays with its tournament, even if you delete the tournament. It can’t be transferred to another tournament.

When Pro ends. When Pro ends, we don’t delete any tournaments: they stay readable, and CSV export stays free. If you used Turnierklar before version 2.2.0, your tournaments with up to eight teams stay fully usable; we don’t lock large tournaments, results or changes. New Pro features then require Pro or an Event Pass again.

5. Subscription, trial period and cancellation

You can choose an annual subscription and, depending on the offer, a monthly subscription; for a single tournament there is the Event Pass (§ 4).

• Only the annual plan can include a one-time free trial period for store accounts that are eligible for the first time. If the tournament you are buying for takes place within this trial period (up to and including its last day), we offer the annual subscription without a trial period. This doesn’t apply to leagues, because the season lasts longer than the trial period.
• If you wish, the app reminds you two days before the trial ends (from version 2.1.4, on iPhone and iPad from 2.1.5).
• The price, term and trial eligibility shown by Apple or Google immediately before the purchase are always binding.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the chosen term unless they are cancelled at the latest in accordance with the store’s rules.

You restore purchases with the same store account under “More” → “Restore purchases”. With a Turnierklar account you use Pro on your other devices on which you are signed in. You can manage and cancel the subscription only in the store in which you took it out.

6. Helpers

With Pro or an Event Pass, you can invite helpers via link or QR code, only for certain fields if you wish.

• Helpers don’t need an account and only enter results. Teams, schedule and settings stay with you.
• An invitation is valid until the end of the day after the tournament (for a league: after the last matchday). In the app you see on how many devices it is used and when it was last used.
• You can revoke it at any time.
• Share the link only with people you trust to enter results.
• Helpers must enter results truthfully. You see every entry in the log and can undo it.

7. Permitted use and live content

Before the first live publication, you must explicitly agree to these terms.

• You may only publish tournament and team names and results that you are entitled to use and share.
• In particular, offensive, harassing, discriminatory, hateful, sexualised, violent, unlawful, infringing or impermissibly personal content is not permitted.
• Equally not permitted are false results entered by helpers, manipulation, circumventing purchase verification and abusive load on services.

Every live page contains a directly accessible reporting function.

• Reported content is blocked until it has been reviewed.
• We can remove impermissible content and permanently deactivate live publications.
• There are no user profiles, comments, messages or direct communication between users.

8. Availability and changes

• We maintain the app and provide necessary security and compatibility updates.
• Backup, live score and helpers need an internet connection and our server. If it is temporarily unavailable, the app continues to work locally and syncs later.
• Features may change insofar as this is objectively necessary and reasonable.
• Statutory rights remain unaffected.

9. Warranty and liability

The statutory warranty rights apply.

• We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under mandatory statutory liability.
• In the event of a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to the typically foreseeable damage.
